Event Overview
In celebration of National Foster Care Month, MENTOR Maryland will host the 2012 National Foster Care Month Symposium. This year's symposium theme is Advocating for a Better Tomorrow with presentations and discussions focused on better serving young people in foster care through improved advocacy!
The symposium will feature presentations that will resontate with child welfare workers, current foster and prospective foster parents. Child welfare workers in attendance will receive continuing education units from Kayla's Village. Foster parents in attendance will have the opportunity to receive
in-service training hours that have to be approved by their agency in advance.
